I don't get it. It starts with round of 16, but there are 16 seeded players. So it means the remaining 32 players will not be able to play at round of 16?
Or there are just mistake and it should be round of 32

All 48 players start on Sunday in the round robin. With one player eliminated from each group.
The remaining 32 players players go through to the next day (Sunday)
then later on we have round of 16 and quarterfinal on another weekend and so on.

I must be stupid. Round of 16 means 16 players. But there already 16 seeded players. So it doesn't make sense.

Saturday: 48 players playing
Sunday: The 2 best of each group go forward --> 32 players.
On another weekend: The winner of each series comes forward --> 16 players
and so on.
The 16 seeded player will be for the 48 run on the first Saturday.
Now clear?
If not, AE will soon publish a video, where he explains the system in detail

Will the Screen Sharing and/or Webcam Requirements be enforced on all players or only on specific participants?

Is it gonna be like last big 1v1 tourney to make it to tourney? I mean seeding, best allies and axis ranks? like rank 20 axis and rank 30 allies so 50/2=30. Is it going to be like this?

Yes, I asked AE this question and He said only your best 2 factions will be taken into account and averaged

Also performance from past cups and stuff. In case you have one.
There will be special seeding for top 16. Rest of 32 players will be just automatch ranks

Is the faction selection secret? So you only know what side the opponent picked but not what exact faction until the match starts.
Or it's public and you can do something like "Oh my opponent picked USF. Then I will play OKW!" ?

For Robin round the lower seed gets always the counter pick part

To clear up any confusion:
Captainasprice was banned from entering the tournament today, for lending his account to a banned player during the sign up and seeding period. This is against both the games general terms, and is expressly prohibited in the official tournament terms.
Said banned player played multiple games and login sessions on this account. This was unequevicoally detected at system level.
This was neither player's first offence for account sharing.
