I think they should get the 7.5cm infantry gun, able to barrage, even smoke barrage to allow their lighter infantry to move around more freely. They were known to use that gun since it was hard to get the larger guns around in the mountains.

Where does this notion that gebirgsjaeger are elite commandos come from? As far as I know they are just guys in a mountain division with a bit of different training and equipment. They arent special forces like people seem to think, but an entire division that takes and hold territories same as any other line unit.

Why do the soviets need an equivalent unit call in? Germans only have a single infantry call-in, and thats with a single dlc commander. the role of the unit is not to be an op superweapon that requires a rival p2w dlc to counter, but a harassment unit that works with good micro

edit: regarding use on summer maps, they would still perform the same role of decapping and harasssing

Well their fame derives mostly from their extraordinary combat performance during the fightings in Norway at the beginning of the war.

I'm sure the reichspropaganda also had it's fair share making them famous.

nope, both osttruppen and assaultgrenadiers are callins, in 2 new DLC commanders.

thank you for the correction, you are technically correct, which is the best kind of correct as every DMV worker and government accountant knows

so now 2 units compared to shocks/guards in everything? really?
