How exactly tight formation affects survivability to small arms?

Sorry, I forgot to ask every wehraboo in the room if I can state my opinion on certain aspect that came up in the past when same topic was raised.

Please, proceed beating dead horse about Raketen being vulerable to direct hits on gun shield (vulnerability to indirect AoE weapons is not raketen-specific - all team weapon suffer from it)

It's chance are absymal, would totally trade it for the much more real chances that it gets fucked up by a single mortar shell. So would you, if you weren't a dishonest liar.

Again, I propose to replace raketen with 57mm or 6 pounder. Raketen is clearly OPie Opie and allies should get it.

I agree with you on that.
I'd better not rely on cheesy stealth creeping and increased raketen range to normal AT-gun levels in order for it not being exposed to direct fire.

even with 5th man it'll still get wiped very easily

No it won't. Thats more men than 3 of the other AT guns and it can still retreat. It doesn't have the gun shield sure but it can't have everything

6 man soviets on a rak makes the damn thing near immortal. 5 will still make it very survivable.
