I think performance of this tank deserves separate topic.
My biggest issue it's the ability to spam them.
As I don't play US at all can someone provide me with some details regarding its cost and upkeep?
It looks like that on average you can easily afford to get at least 3 of them in an equal match up.
In my opinion that's a bit too much to handle but I could be wrong and perhaps it's cost is ok and it's simply its performance that needs to be tweaked.
Or maybe this tank is perfectly balanced and I am being delusional?
Easy 8 is OP ( or maybe not)

3 E8s is like 420 fuel, that's a lot, match up wasn't even enough I say. Only thing they beastly at is counting Wehrmacht's PZ4s.

Ez8 has the same cost as OKW's pz4 (390MP 140FU 14POP).
It is a doctrine unit, it should perform a little better for its price than its counterpart.

doctrinal units should function as an alternative to core units, sometimes superiour, other times alternate but most certainly not balanced differently
the E8 has slightly less armour than the okw p4 and has a weaker cannon, but iirc is superior pretty much everywhere else.

I honestly haven't seen a single Easy 8 since patch release. I can't comment on it but still that's a pretty big hint the thing isn't OP.

I used a couple in a 3v3 last night. It's just a very mediocre tank, I'd rather they increased the price and buffed it to make it stand out a bit more.

Its alright, it just comes in a pretty bad doctrine in a faction that has some really good doctrines. So most people aren't gonna lock in Rifle Company just for an E8.

This as well. A Easy 8 is handy but not nearly as useful as a mortar HT or a Priest for example.

E8s could be buffed in the AT department and then replace jacksons, making the last ones doctrinal for heavy anti tank commanders.
