Hi,

I need to edit some weapon sounds for my mod of CoH1 and I cannot find any programs for converting the game sounds (.smf and .bsc) to something editable, like .wav, and then, after the editing is done, to convert it back to the formats the game uses.

I found the program that allows you to open an ".sga" file with sounds and export the .smf files into .wav (I think it is called "SMFPlay") but this does not allow me (or at least I cannot find the option) to put the .wav files back into .smf.

According to Reddit there is some program called "SMFConvert" which should be able to do what I need but all links to its download which I have found so far are dead already.

Is there anyone here who has the program or could recommend me some alternative?

Thank you very much for any help.

For the dead links that lead to the good ol' relicnews, you can use web archive to get those links back.
