I apologise, could someone offer me more information on this? Video was kinda unclear-are we seeing, in essence, a coh1 commander tech tree?

Custom commanders... I think. Ability to mix and match abilities. Rumor was Relic was going to introduce it officially a long time back but scrapped the plans.

Streamed it in action on twitch.tv/seasonalmapcup mind you it ends abruptly cause of a power outage.

It is a custom commander mod as others have stated, and it was intentionally "unclear" to make people interested. Will be a more indepth video in the future going over everything.
