50+ 25% range = 62,5
Range of su85 = 60
So yes, keep in mind that you have a very narrow field or fire now

yep ^ 62.5 range and added to that the su85 range bulletin increase bullshit is also gone (thank God)

so hull down seems really useful finally. Just hull down a panther and have an ostwind for support. The only thing to be worried about is an il2 bomb strike and howitzers.

A quick question about hull down. Do you have to wait to get out of it or can you just bust out?

what's the point of outranging a unit if you can't kite?

Hull Down is a tank/vehicle combat term where the hull of the tank is behind cover, only exposing the often heavily armored turret.

You can instantly bust out of a hull down position.

The point of being able to have range on the SU-85 is that it can't shoot at you without you being able to shoot back. Hull down provides some other significant benefits, but those were always canceled out by the SU-85s simply sitting back beyond your range. Now it can't.

Elefant with like 100 range isn't so bad.

Hull down on non-turreted units is nigh useless. It also takes some time to set it up.

hulldown is great for units like ostwind and panther ... specially backed up with a Pak43 its great for securing a VP or fuel pt.

I still feel hulldown units need a little buff in armor. The changes they made this patch are very welcome though. I finally will start using this doctrine along with the PaK43

would be nice if they put indicators on assault guns in hull down.

There are visual indicators, or what do you mean? And 35% reduced damage is very good.

Does it still have the damage reduction? From the patch notes there was no mention of the other stuff nor that it would stay the same or even removed...

Is there a new version for the sga unpacker? Mine doesn't work anymore :(

my guess is that the old boni are still there, but the Reloadtime got exchanged with the new faster fire rate (this helps for ecample the Ostwind with its bursts.) Maybe the Accurcy is gone too, could be.
