The deva confirmed that the KE7 and the medic sings are going to get tweaked, the KE7 is getting nerfed while the smgs are getting buffed.

Planes are pretty broken, some upgrades and loadouts are completely OP while fighters are practically useless when stock. The bombers can rack up huge killstreaks if there isn't a high level plane pilot on the other team because they can't really die and the BF109 G6 is quite ridiculous with HE ammunition and the 210mm rockets.

Then there's the issue of tanks being overnerfed, with critical damage being too frequent or too punishing and Panzerfausts doing too much damage while tanks suffer from poor mobility and low offensive power. MG ROF got nerfed and splash damage never kills enemies in one shot. It forces tanks to camp because they die instantly when they try to push.

Other than that I'm enjoying the game so far, it's very fun to play. Most maps are nice and most weapons seem kinda balanced. MG 32 is hella fun to use. There's a ton of bugs but I hope they'll fix most of them within the coming weeks. Can't wait for the 20th so I can finally play with friends.

3. Lots. Lol M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M1903 Springfield, M1898 Krag-Jorgensen, M1911A1, M7A1 Grenade launcher for the Garand with practice grenades ( it’s a hoot! Lol) M16A1 (from a parts kit, semi auto only), M16A4, M4 carbine, M91/30 Mosin-Nagant, 1895 Nagant revolver, polish built AK-47(it’s an AKM, but that’s not as common of a name for a stamped sheet metal AK), 1897 Winchester shotgun, Japanese Type 99 Arisaka, Kar98k, Mauser C96 pistol..... I also have several newer firearms and some older stuff that’s not WWII or military related like some Smith and Wesson revolvers and a few guns for concealed carry.

Its less about the tanks being over nerfed more about how the panzerfaust doing 51 damage to the back of tank. And you are likely to get a bunch of crits so he wont be able to move or turn his turret. So he becomes an easy kill.

Being a infantry mainly player I was happy to see tanks actually be killable, but this seems like way too much IMO.

I cant fly in these games so I cant speak about it, the only thing I noticed was that on the Fjelli map they would bomb the spawn and get like 10 kills immediately.

Two major bugs are the Revive bug and the AutoBalance bug, the Revive bug makes medics useless so hopefully they fix it soon.

I love the game thus far.
Bugs are inevitable early on.

I think the spawn bomb can be fixed by not allowing bombers immediately :)

The revive bug should be fixed as of today, and the autobalance too afaik.

As for tanks, yes I agree that the Panzerfaust has been overbuffed. It does too much damage and it's too easy/quick to aim now that it doesn't require ADS anymore. But tanks could also use a little buff for main gun damage and a bit towning down of criticals. And IMO there should be way more supply stations.

Right now all of these mechanics just lead to camping being the only viable option for tanks, while they should instead be used to support infantry on pushes.

Could not agree more RE: tanks; they should be more powerful units, and if need be make them a bit more rare if they are found to be OP.

They're about as solid as BF1942 (3 bazooka front, 2 rear, 1 mine)
But in BF1942 the AT class had a pistol and a bazooka.

In BF5, Pak40 guns everywhere.
And 3x PanzerFaust AND TNT AND STG44... er... wow.
The density of Infantry AT is just so much higher.

Tanks are rare AND vulnerable right now.

- And that's without counting criticals.
- And the fact that it's a lot harder to see infantry
in BFV than in BF1942.

At least there is a hull MG in BFV tanks that wasn't there in BF1942 :)

Thank god they reverted the changes

How so ?

Slow rate of fire weapons for each class basically became really bad. For example the STG m1907 and SMLE all became much more noticeably better than its counterparts in the class. Medic weapons got even worse and made the class almost unplayable. And the Bren/Lewis gun where almost unusuable. Thankfully they are reverting it today so it’s no longer an issue.
