Sturmpioniers Combat Package upgrade, what's the point?

Besides giving the squad a Panzerschreck, what's the point of the other half of the Combat Package upgrade since the removal of Cold Tech? I understand it's still available in custom matches, but why not change the package so it has more practical use for auto-match? It's not a big deal to me, honestly, but I am just curious as to why still include a counter for cold tech, if it's essentially been removed from the game? Thanks!

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

The cold immunity is there because nobody cared about removing it. The ability has been ballanced for automatch, so removing for the sake of taking one ability off custom games makes no real sense.

Reminds me of the good old days when there were volkshrek blobs running around in the blizzard, while USSR units had to huddle by camp fires. Made zero bloody sense as per usual XD
