Been playing for a while and hanging around on forums since closed beta and this topic has come up here and there. Since the last patch (10th sept) fuelcost on a couple of tanks were reduced with the intention to make them more viable in 1v1s.
I would like to see the community standpoint on fuelsinks in the game. It is a hypothetical discussion since I do not believe that Relic will do any major changes anytime soon. However, if the discussion is civil and suggestions are well thought out, they might atleast take a look at it.
1. Does the game need more fuelsinks than vechicles (and teching to relevant tier)?
2. If so, how can a fuelsink be implemented? i.e what shold cost fuel and why. If possible, point towards features or abilities already ingame that can be affected. Should AI abilities be sacrificed for AT for instance.
3. What would the desired effects of more fuel sinks be in the game? i.e less tanks, more/less diverse armies? Less hard counters?
4. How will the suggested changes affect 1v1 through 4v4?

No, this is CoH2 and not VCOH1 1.5.
The ground foundation of the gameplay is designed & done, there will be no major revamps most likely. It's not in a bad state either, so there's absolute no need for major gameplay changes.

aerafield: @LimaOscarMike I would say nowadays is a decent time to try CoH3. If you loved CoH2 however, there is a solid chance you're gonna dislike CoH3
