A bit late, I was at the station to bring my brother so I couldn't put it on COH2.ORG exactly when I wanted to :) Forgive me ^^ But it seems you already found it

i mean i looks like the should be able to see up there, i hope units dont have a silly sight range, were even if there is noting blocking your path you still cant see because this unit only has a 10m line of sight, it would make this whole true sight mechanic, really quite silly.

I assume that's the maximum sight range. Since the camera's way further away, it maybe looks a little short, but considering how tiny the infantry is it's a reasonable distance.

Then take an actual good look at it. It's really not that hard.

Size of the door is 44 pixels; doors are generally 2 meters high. Taking this as a reference, we get a sight range (approx. 800 pixels) for engineers of approximately 36 meters.

Size of the door is 20 pixels equals 2 m again, as is the infantryman (he's obviously a little prolonged since your view is not perpendicular). Sight range (400 pixels) thus equals approximately 40 meters. So, it's definitely more than 10 meters, and it's certainly no less than in the original CoH.

I hope that the units shoot farther this time, not so much point blank festival.
