AT nades and panzerfaust after 3.0.0.10242 patch

Now that the behavior of AT nades and panzerfausts has been changed, have people been noticing the differences?

I had a Tiger deflect a few AT nades in my last game to my everlasting delight. Foolish conscripts! Halftracks and Armored Cars still faring poorly.

Maybe if anyone has the numbers indicating the armor values of the different vehicles, they can post it here and we can calculate the likelihood of AT nades and panzerfausts penetrating. Pretty please?

AT nades and panzerfausts deflecting on heavier tanks is a good idea and all hits on HT's and scout cars should be penetrable

Hmm. I can't seem to find it. Perhaps I am bad at internets.

AT nade now has only 50% of chance penetrating a Panzer IV, while faust still 100% instant engine damage to T-34 series

The increased damage buff given to AT Nades to balance the penetration nerf is actually making them stronger against ACs. They take them down to a sliver of health and they're easily finished off with small arms fire from a single Conscript squad.

I forgot what they said in the stream, with AT nades, do you have more chances of penetration if it's thrown from behind the PIV ?

can't remember it being mentioned, but i would think that the rear armor would be more susceptible (don't know it though, and haven't tested it). it would be weird if not.

Don't remember...but that stage of the game, it was probably Vet 1 at most. Had it happen twice...maybe just lucky rolls that inflicted maximum damage.

still faring poorly? armored cars are beasts now, i had wiped out many squads with the armored care now, and they are easily maneuverable that thing is a monster. no joke.

pq said in the stream that the faust penetration is higher (140 iirc) ten the AT nades penetration (100 iirc) cause the AT nade is lobbed and thrown in a cone and therefore more likly to hit the rear part of a vehicle where the armor is much lower.

So yeah of course like any other weapons they do better vs the lower rear armor. they actually did pre patch but had i think 1000 penetration and did penetrate any armor anyway no matter where they hit.

I rly hate that Panzerfaust doing all the time Engin damage... its rly anoyin if they want to slow down all tanks, give light AT mines...

Wrong. Try again:

" Unit Abilities

AT grenades and Panzerfaust will see reduced effectiveness vs. heavier targets.

This change is meant to improve the flow of mid-to-late game tank combat by making aggressive maneuvers less risky. Heavy tanks should be better able to spearhead as a result. Little to no impact vs. medium to light vehicles.

AT Grenade
Damage from 80 to 100
Added deflection damage, now deals 80 damage on deflect
Penetration from 1000 to 100

Panzerfaust
Damage from 80 to 100
Added deflection damage, now deals 80 damage on deflect
Penetration from 1000 to 140"

AT Nade is 100 AP. Not 80, as you falsely stated.

today I hit a single tiger with 6 AT grandes and not a single engine damage. Maybe they nerfed them a bit too much?
