Because you haven’t played the other factions much? USF are not known for their weak infantry

USF infantry is anything but weak. Equip Riflemen with BARs and Bazookas and nothing can stand against them. Take Cavarly riflemen, upgrade them with LMG (plus default Thompson) and they are killing machines. I am very impressed by their combat abilities and versatility.

Ostheer got buffed and they feel kinda strong right now, which is crazy because i stopped playing them altogether back in 2016.

I remember the 2016 Ostheer where I can rank up to top 300 by not playing ostheer.

The only thing I would say USF is really having a problem with is STG volks blobs and OST mortars. Nothing double bars cant fix but you lose more models in the process -most of the time anyway-.

The smoke changes are also kinda silly but the mortar makes up with it with free smoke.

If the USF did indeed get nerfed overall, it did at least receive some buffs. For example, Rear Echelon troops can lay cheap light mines that slow down enemy vehicles. The M36 Jackson is a bit more expensive and a bit less fragile. And the rifle smoke grenade was not taken away completely; it was simply moved to rear echelon troops and the major.
