Hello!
We (wikinger) are wanting to create an ability from COH1 for our latest patch, we're not having much luck with it yet.
We're looking to recreate the Radio Triangulation that the British Royal Commandos Support had, not specifically with beacons like in CoH1 but we want to get the same concept going.
If anyone could shed some light on where to start with this it would be amazing!

I dont think you can make this work anymore. It seems to rely on a old ext that has been changed for COH2. They were planning on re-implementing it with the western front armies, but never got around to it.

You can have your Commandos build a camouflaged radio entity and use extended_sight to let it detect enemy units on the minimap. Have a look at OKW Forward Receivers and Signal Relay to see how that works!

That's the direction we are leaning towards, it's a shame that triangulation isn't do-able in coh2

Nope, Wikinger: European Theater of War is a CoH2 mod - we were just looking at a COH1 mechanic and trying to recreate it in COH2.
