No.

lets say UKF use their half-truck and drop weapons any ally infantry can pick them up. That make certain units OP. If the same weapon picked performed different for ea ch units type (engineers, mainline infantry, elite)thing would be far more balanced.

I know. To achieve this change, it is indeed possible to set three different entities for each weapon

That is one way of doing it but there is another.

One can apply a penalty to all engineer type of units and a buff to all elite infantry. Then adjust spawning weapons according. If one wishes now one can adjust any of drop-able weapon with mainline infantry in mind. Engineers and elites will have the same weapon bu suffer or gain the penalty.

That would also make player easier to know what to from the performance (should i pick a DP with Pg or am i actually losing DPs?) of picked up weapon and now with which squad they should pick up a weapon they find.

If so, elite infantry using a weapon will have a buff that resembles a command tank bonus

Sort of (there already a number of bonuses and penalties apply to infantry like UKF, osttruppen),currently many elite infantry pick another version of some weapons. The change should aim to unify the system.

Very true. Unfortunately most of patch from Relic also seem to take an "easy" way and use "unique" solutions making the system much more complicated than it needs to be.

Personally think that developers can look more long-term.

conscripts maybe can get new weapon likes svt-40 when they get vet3, so does penal.

They use to do. The fact that they come up with weapon profiles and tried to stick to "rules" when it come to reinforcement cost, time build time and such indicates that they tried to keep things simple.

It the trend of the latest patches to balance unit in a case by case manner finding unique solutions. KV-1's damage reduction is a good example. If mechanism is a good solution it should apply to more units of the same type and not be a "unique" solution.

Conscripts should have their doctrinal PPsh replace with SVTs since smgs and bolt action do not work well together.

For penal I would rather have them as an a cheap assault unit with 6 ppsh. In their current implementation they should become cheaper start with bolt action rifles and have the SVT as an upgrade (mutually exclusive with PTRS or completely remove the PTRS).

Thank you for your advice!

we are considering put pgrens back to t2.

the commander ability re-design and fix will start at next step.

Maybe lock the Pgrens behind the Phase 1 upgrade? Therefore they come earlier than before so their timing is better on top of also not being in excessive conflict with Grens.

This is a good suggestion, but does it seem irrelevant for the Allied Forces to see the German premature infiltration?

Penal and Shock troops.
The two should not have the same positioning, and regular forces should prioritize upgrades to non-regular army access equipment
