I expect that number to drop off in the coming weeks but if we get even two or three hundred new dedicated newcomers that stick with the game and join our humble community it will be a plus.

So the peak today (sunday) could definitely go above 20K players. This could indirectly help increase the budget for CoH3. Good news.

Bro, i played literally comp stomp matches only in coh1. And look where i am now

Maybe there is a new Devm/Luvnest among those comp stompers

I think coh2 core (Soviets + Ostheer + Soviet campaign) should have been free since British Forces were released. Other commanders should have been obtainable via grinding and other factions via DLCs

This way the wolf would be full and the goat would be alive

I think the only reason they don't do this and instead do it by keys, is that if you get banned for cheating you can immediately make a new steam account and start again for free.

Nice to see those stats and CoH2 rising. But will only truly know after christmas break how many dedicated players might stick to it. I hope tournaments are getting advertised in the CoH2 in-game news lobby (main menu) during such fruitful, prolific days/weeks in order to promote the "competitive esports scene" and community.

I'm guessing that this has been timed with the patch to impress newcomers with the prompt updating and support the game receives and so lure them in to this multiplayer mode that has 8 pages of patch notes.

Although it appears i'm being cynical, I hope it works for a few.
