Hi, this is a very explaining tutorial and I've followed it very carefully, still I can't get the icons to show. No nothing only empty (grey) inside icon frame...

.png is the (only) correct type.
I never use subfolders and no uppercase filenames, can you try that? If that doesn't fix anything, can you share the name which you use to point to the images?

I recommend eliw00d's video tutorial. Follow that step by step and it should work.

Removed the subfolder and upper cases, that did the trick
I strongly believe that it was the latter that caused the poroblem but I will definitely carry on from here now that I got the hang of it
