I have already posted this in the "kick out 1v1 maps" thread, but I guess the update will be discussed here

Bit sad to see Caen go, but only because I know there is an updated version of this map which seems to address the issues I had with the version in the map pool. I had hoped Caen would also get an update like westwall.

I had also hoped minsk pocket was kicked out of the 1v1 pool.

But overall I am happy and excited with these changes

Why would you throw Elst Outskirts out?
Its one of the better maps, and I had a lot of fun on it :(:(
Also, I am a bit sad about Halbe.
But overall great work.

They haven't removed the extra resources from crossroads?

I see no reason to keep them.

I have to talk today with Relic again.

I think they made a Mistake.

I Never told them to kick out Elst Outskirts

You can blame / praise me for other things. But not for this.

To make this clear:

A) I know that caen had a reworked version. But sorry nope.

B) Road to Kharkov is a funny storry, but i don't think that i am allowed to tell why it is in.
I just can say: I wanted to kick it out.

C) But hey 99% of all vote kicks or reworked maps got accepted which is fucking awesome! Just think for unit balaning and scope...

D) Before you blame me now that Moscow has still 2 version and is in the mappool or minks or other big unbalanced maps. Have a look into the maps. (Moscow sommer and winter had already some different places and now even more)

E) Not every single made change is in the Patchnote. Enjoy to find all the changes; I’m pretty sure you will not notice every single one, but that’s ok :)

I hope You guys are positive surprised / pleased with the made changes.
Yours sincerely Sturmpanther

Edit:

B) I know that Road to Kharkov sucks and northside is crap. BUT now with all other made changes and votekicks. You should have def. a veto free for this map in 1vs1, 2vs2
--> so all in all. No big deal.

A great job indeed, especially with the 2v2 maps fix for 1v1

Now I'm curious. Was it because the reworked version didn't live up to some standards? Was it because people generally disliked the map or was it just relic things (legal stuff)?

We no longer need to waste precious vetoes on be-loved maps like Pripyat and Lisores. :hyper:

Thanks for the effort to everyone involved :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Port of Hamburg
Two new green cover objects have been added on the North side of the Eastern fuel so that both spawn have equal cover in this area.

Does one of 'green cover objects' mean it is a building? Can't say it from minimap from workshop.

Moved the Western fuel slightly North to balance the timing between bases.

Vielsam
Why no remove central minefield? I understand it is a map's raisin but actually it lowers it's space and the ways of early flanking.

P.S. I think 'Hill 400' needs some 'Various quality of life changes have been made to the bunkers in base sectors' too. It's me the puddinghead but still: how Penal blob under 'For Mother Russia' can run right into your base ignoring base's defense?
