how we exactly counter sniper and guard spam combo

Another way to counter this is Jaeger infantry or Lightening war Commanders.


I'm curious what your strategy is with these docs. Could you please elaborate?

Jaeger Infantry. If you want to have real fun with them get a MG to vet1. Make your MG holdfire. If you see an enemy unit coming near activate Incendary rounds. The MG will load the rounds while invisible. Wait untill they are as near as possible and open fire. You will have a very good chance to kill the whole enemy squad in seconds.

6 sec forced reload I think. But yeah its amazing :D It increases the damage by 100%. It adds 9 Penetration which makes it 10. (only usefull against enemys with more than 1 armor.) It halfes your reload time (btw, maybe this applys to the 6 seconds and makes it 3 o_O).
Add the double damage to the enemys being close and it rips through them.

On an additional note incendiary rounds are OP against Hit the Dirt because the enemy doesn't get the damagereduction from surpression.

1. Camo MG hold Fire after a retreat where you think sniper will go unload insta kill
2. Tactical movement to bum rush + G43 can actually "snipe" snipers pretty well.

Use an ostwind. Find any opportunity to flank and kill. Can use pioneers to find mines on roads. Typically not all players place mines at base, mostly on roads further away.

I've been able to force a retreat on snipers and flank into their base with and ostwind for an easy kill, especially with blitzkrieg.

Anyway, mid-late game you'll probably pool on manpower, so getting a HT and consistantly reinforcing while also trying to find opportunities to kill it is worth it.

However, I believe that soviet sniper should be extremely inaccurate when reduced to 1 man so it can't instantly countersnipe, won't be a major nerf.

I use mortar halftracks to try and get the snipers. It helps create some chaos in the Russian SU85, Sniper, Guards camp.

The mortar halftracks helps to lure the sniper guards to come out further from the camp.

its seems very annoying to counter this the only good counter we have against Russian 2 man sniper is scout car which can be killed in 2 shoot by guards ?


Keep your units on field and together (!), secure a couple of relevant points. Once scout cars are undone the Soviet has hilariously little staying power and you can simply shove him from the map.

You know that you failed when he has 2/3rds of the map and starts shoving T-34s into your face.
