i havent play coh for 4-5 months but i played today when i saw penals i have shocked they are already too much effective to grens and volks now they can throw charge to vehicles and can upgrate with anti tank rifles pls nerf it...

To be fair penial nerfs should come with conscript buffs (moving half their recieved accuracy to vet 2 and rounding off their rng dps)

If there are other thread to debate Penal simply close this.
On the matter of Penals (and if one takes grenadiers/Ostheer as benchmark) there are very strong indication that they are OP.
The fact that Soviet beat Ostheer on faction Showdown rather easily if a further indication.

20 mp soldiers means nothing if they still can't trade at all with more expensive units, which would still be the case if their dps was only made more consistent as opposed to buffed. Basically, what I'm saying is that if they lose 3 guys and kill 1-2 volks models (which happens in the best of scenarios) they still lose out on the mp battle, and same goes for if they kill 1-2 grenadiers but lose 4-5 men (also usually an occurrence).
On topic: penals are op but there's no alternative and there's probably no more patches anyway.
