Game is lagging when it shouldn't

Hello!

I've been playing CoH2 on my computer for about 3 years now. I run on a gaming laptop and have on Medium/Low graphics. Recently I've lowered them even further because I thought the game was running better on it. Worked fine for the past month, but today it just started lagging and freeze like never before. And this is just from one day to another without any changes.

Any suggestions of what the reason might be for this?

As and add on I also got the message in red where it says that I have to high settings, but that can't really be the issue here.

you say it laggs and freeze but it can't be both at the same time, when it happens can you still moove the camera around, select units, give them orders, or is the coh2 process not responding ?

lagg could be internet provider, people using your wifi from times to times
The other could be linked to game mode, driver issue and many more.

Yes I can give them orders and all, but everythings is more or less a mess. I updated my graphics driver and nothing. Internet shouldn't be a problem either. I have never had these issues with so low settings.
I suppose it's my computer, but I don't really know where to start look for the problem. I only play online, 1vs1 mostly and it worked without a problem like 24 hours ago.

Try cleaning your PC a bit. Could be some malware interfering with the game. Run virus scans with your anti virus, remove things you don't need etc.

aerafield: @LimaOscarMike I would say nowadays is a decent time to try CoH3. If you loved CoH2 however, there is a solid chance you're gonna dislike CoH3

Rosbone: But I agree, the cost to get a full decent Coh game pushing $115 US is not the best idea. Especially when it needs so much more work for casuals.
