The USA faction rely heavily on infantry play, that fact make them extremely vulnerable to any area damage effects.
Losing vet 3 riflemen is a mortal wound for them as their armored units are rather sub-par and need infantry support to work at their best.
It's why i think they don't perform as well as the other factions in any team format.
Any ideas to alleviate this situation ?

Any buff to US vehicles would require a nerf to US infantry to keep 1v1 balanced. Therefore there aren't good ideas to "alleviate this situation".
And honestly, US vehicles are not as bad as many people say. Scott is very nice, well microed Jackson with vetted crew (exchange for m20 or stuart crew for immediate vet1) packs a punch aswell. You need a lot of micro, but it is doable
