Huge FPS drop?

Maybe once or twice a game my FPS will drop to zero and my game will freeze for about 4-5 seconds, which as you can imagine is detrimental in a game like this. Has anyone else experienced this? A friend of mine definitely has, so it's not an isolated issue.

Hasn't this been happening for at least a year? I thought it was just a normal thing everyone dealt with at this point.

Has happened to me too. I have a really good PC and I know about the fucked optimization but I usually had one big stutter some minutes in the game and nothing else.

But now it is constantly lagging every 1-2 minutes. This is really really annoying.

I'm getting stutters during the game, yeah. Sometimes especially during the beginning of the game, they may happen more often then.

I had this problem. Like it was smooth and nice and suddnely drop to 5-10FPS for like 20secs and then come back to normal*

*Not couting huge FPS drops during 1 hours slugfest which I consider normal.

I have very similar issues. I also find unit control slips as game goes on, I have trouble selecting units especially on tack map and trying to use med kits as ostheer is a huge exercise in frustration due to problems with selecting the button and then the unit.

Could be hardware issue on my end, not sure.

Just left a game against a korean after five minutes cause whole game just seemed sluggish.

Sigh, balance issues seem so distant when dealing with shit like this.....
