I wish people would stop asking what people's ideas on settings are. When they come out I'm sure someone will post them on here. But I think you will need a
i7 thing
500gb SSD
8 maybe 16gb of RAM.

Don't expect anything anytime soon. I imagine they are still busy optimizing things.

It was already mentioned a lot of times that system requirements are not going to be brutal, and so pretty much every average PC will be able to run it decently. Devs said it too.

I don't think you'll need an i7 and a 500 gb ssd and 16 Gb of ram. It wouldn't hurt. That's what I built with an i7 3820, SSD, 16 gb RAM, a Radeon 7950 oc'd. It's overkill I'm sure but I built it to game for years. Also to kill the FPS on CoH 2. The devs are most likely banking on getting this game on as many rigs as possible at the same time as doing the graphics and gameplay justice. The settings will be adjustable I'm sure that way not only those with super computers will buy it. Ranging from low settings to benchmarked machines.

Between an i5 and an i7 there's no difference in terms of gaming.

Yes, and more expensive for no reason as well, since you get the same for 100 bucks less.
