yes its small however for coh2 gameplay small is good for 1v1. there's a reason why kolodny work so well.

It's an actual 1v1 map, not a 1v1/2v2 Map like everything else in the map pool.

Hence, why it is small - and a good size for 1v1.

On topic: It's the same map; it probably just feels small as you've gotten used to playing 1v1s on the Coh2 standard maps which are so much larger. I for one am glad to have this back as it's always been one of my favorites.

It plays almost exactly like it did in vCoH with US vs Wehr, which is more evidence that map balance is as or more important than unit balance.

You make this map bigger and I feel Soviets will simply get drowned out like they do on other big maps such as Moscow Outskirts or Pripyat, where M3 flamer/sniper is the only safe stratergy.

North spawn for Soviets I believe will be problematic for Russians without an M3/flamer or sniper purely due to the openess of mid-field and exposure of the cut off with no shot block. MG42 will reign in almost all other situations. Until conscript/gren small arms fire flanks provide a greater return the maps are the biggest enemy in restricting the amount of viable stratergy.

South spawm for Soviets I believe is good and allows you to use a greater array of strategic options. I shall test the North more though none the less.
