Penals have no counters

An IS2 needs to be flanked, as does a SU85. As for t34-76s and t34-85s, they will push and you just keep one or two penals close to snare anything you come up against.
Both jagd always win against su85.

Penals aren't a fundamental threat now they lose the flamer. And you'd have to be a lazy fuck to die to a satchel

Their base accuracy/damage value is still a bit high for a T1 unit. 222/Luchs/AAHT? Well there is their AT super nade. They beat upgraded grens (60Munis/240MP/30MP Reinforce cost)and panzergrenadiers. And OKW is doomed against th SOVS anyway.
Their nade should be unlocked once they upgrade to PTRS. Also their accuracy/damage or ROF should be reduced.
This is a L2P.Go and test with cheat mode.I actually posted on coh2 official feedback forum that upgraded grens at long range,no cover or green cover, they will win if both of them have the same veterancy level.Panzer grenadiers are not ok to move them a lot.Put them in cover at medium range and they will always win.Actually I can win vs rifleman/IS squad with only 2 Pzgrens,1 mg,2 mortars in 3vs3 and 4vs4.You need to know how to put infantry in cover and don't rush them when you fight enemy squads in cover.Their AT capability is ok(poor stug iii g & e) and when they have ptrs, they are even worse at AI

You will see Jagdtigers in the majority of 3v3+ games. Your statement is false.

Yeah but I am talking from the 1v1-2v2 perspective

You are correct.
Seeing an IS2 is as rare as seeing a Tiger.
Compared to when this game came out, the Tigers are more or less scrap heaps

There are 36 maps in the 1v1 + 2v2 rotation. Out of those 36 maps I regard 6 maps as clearly Jagdtiger beneficial: Minsk, Rails and Metal, Kharkov, Crossing in the Woods, Rzhev and Across the Rhine. I´ve not enough knowledge about the custom maps to judge them. However 6 out of 36 is still not 90%.

1v1 is entirely different from 2v2 and it's unwise to bundle them together like this. As you can see here RedT3rror is using your wording against you.

The maps mentioned here are only ever played in the 2v2 form at high level. You will maybe see a JT in 1v1 at a high level in about 1 of every 2000 matches. Even then I doubt it.

That's why every mentioned map can be played in 2v2.

The point about how the Jagdtiger is "rarely used" according to you? Let me give you an advice: heavy TDs on those maps have become almost mandatory in the late game unless you want to use medium and heavy tanks in frontal assaults against Fireflies and SU-85s.

In 2v2 a jagdtiger hurt more the axis team than it helps, at guns are here to counter Fireflies and Su-85, and shreks

But when you are facing the possibility of party cover, CalliOP, Land mattress, you don't want to rely on AT guns to be your main source of anti tank.
A single JT saying "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" is easier to use than positioning correctly an AT gun wall (and it doesn't bleed).

I would, but only if somebody is using a command P4. Otherwise NOPE!
