i feel like you need 2 halftracks to take down aircrafts. The turret turn rate is to slow. Anyone else noticed this?

It's AA is pathetic - by the time 1 has shot down strafe, it's already made 5 passes and forced mass retreat.

1 can still shoot down planes fairly reliably. Positioning is key, just off the main flight path is good as your M5 doesn't spend the whole time rotating its turret. Also make sure you guy isn't shooting enemy units instead of aircraft.

2 would obviously do better than 1 one though if you have the resources to spare. Currently, it's almost a necessity in team games that at least one player gets an upgunned M5.

The high value of AA is currently only caused by strafe being bugged, which will be patched soon.

I find it works best if parked in the back lines close to your base, maybe even in your base on small maps. The plane will always come from the enemy base, and then in a small angle towards your M5.

I feel like it does a well enough job taking out aircraft. It isn't 100% though. Others probably know more than I do.

what do you mean by aircraft O_O ? I didn't notice u can use planes in this game... or do u mean this recon plane ?

pack 2 flamer or 2 snipers in M5 and brain fuck the german , dont even need quad (although its great AI capability)
