Demos are Coh2 Aids. Simple as that.

They exist purely for the gratification of imbeciles because they add nothing, absolutely F***ing nothing to the game. They easily make the top five all time broken as f**k coh2 cancer mechanics, and the fact they have not been addressed during the entire lifespan of coh2 is abysmal.

If you suspect your opponent is a demo whore, or if you know your opponent is going to place demos because you have played them previously, there is no guarantee you won't miss some, especially if there are multiple places to hide them.

They also become difficult to target sometimes if they are planted on top of flags.

Vet1 Demo is not bad idea. But Vet2 or Vet3 is hmmm...
