Is it possible to have one unit follow another?

Not that I am aware of. The closest thing to that is to order the unit to the same spot as the unit they are supposed to follow, but they might not take the same path.

What specific situation would you want to do that?

you can set buildings deploy point on units tho (never actually checked if it works)

aerafield: @LimaOscarMike I would say nowadays is a decent time to try CoH3. If you loved CoH2 however, there is a solid chance you're gonna dislike CoH3
