The Parts

Not sure if I would be better going for a Intel Core i7-2700K over the i5-3570K
I like to stream now and again, But can't often due to my current ageing system.
My current system is socket 775 had it since 2009.

I really want to see a huge improvement over my old system.
I want to be-able too stream at 1680x1050 at high - medium settings lag free.
I will be using the SSD below as the boot drive for Windows.

The WD HDD. I will get two of them and run in raid 0 for faster performance ( only if necessary. )
Price range i'm looking at is £800 - £900 GBP.

I may also consider upgrading the RAM too 16GB.
I will wait for feedback and reply's before doing anything.
Games I play and would like to stream.

EVE ONLINE.
COH1.
COH2.
BF3.
CS:GO.

No comments about Haswell please. Not going to get Haswell.
Regards,
Uni.

No reason to go Z77 anymore now that Z87/Haswell is out.

Ivy Bridge has the same issues as Haswell. There's no reason to go Sandy anymore.

Aside from that MSI motherboards are kinda shitty and Ive never even heard of that brand of memory.

I'd recommend an Asus/Gigabyte/Asrock board and some Corsair/Gskill/Crucial memory.

Thanks for the replies.
Haswell overclocks much worse than Sandy / Ivy and costs more.
Also Haswell runs hotter.
I will be going for a 2600k @ 4.6Ghz with a MSI GTX 670.
In the next few months! I can't wait to get away from socket 775.

Here is a quick build:
http://www.pccomponentes.com/core/client/showList/id/285953/hash/zV5PQDVa
No optical drives nor keyboard etc.

nice build and definetely much better than the original build.

i would buy a fullhd-screen for this computer aswell, everything else would be a waste :)

Get i7-4770 & H87 instead, use the budget on display instead, maybe GTX760 or GTX770

buying Ivy now makes no sense except helping stores getting rid of old stuff. Also, you need to ask yourself, how would you use this rig. Overclocking is just, overclocking. Despite you really like to overclock, for gaming, overclock is almost useless, a better GPU = much better.

my i5-4670k + Z87 board are insanely expensive, I regret now not getting i7-4770 & H87

and Haswell isn't that hot, with water cooling, the temp of my CPU @4.2GHz is about 45 degree when playing COH2 in highest graphic
