It's been almost a year since I played CoH2 and just getting back into it a bit. Tons of changes.
One thing I still have not quite figured out is the P47 rocket strike changes. Obviously it doesn't spot for itself anymore, which is annoying but I can work around it. It also seems to have a more restricted area as indicated by the minimap. My main question: have the stats on the rockets themselves changed any? Are the less accurate/less penetration/less damage? or is it still the same?

As far as i know only change was that the radius of the ability got reduced quite a lot. Perhaps too much, since its not very useful these days.
The biggest problem though is the spacing of rockets and their accuracy, then tend to miss medium vehicles quite often because the gap between the rockets is often larger than the tank that is being targeted.
However it can be still quite useful against heavy tanks like tigers since they are much larger and slower so they can't escape the radius as fast.

Use it only vs heavies! But they are damn good at that now, since the rear armor nerf made it so they hit and cause criticals often, best paired with a M20 mine for the broken thread inmobilization.

The p47 in it's current state is quite a waste of 240 munitions. It doesn't even compare to the stuka at loiter. Basically do not use it against anything smaller than a tiger.
Not to mention that it is usually shot down by okw t4.

the call in is a waste of time unless u have engine damage on mainly axis heavies. and even if u do there is a high chance of it getting shot down before its 2nd or 3rd volley.
It needs to be buffed in some way.

Or a cost reduction. 240 muni is way too much for a 50m radius of antitank rockets. Stuka 37mm AT loiter is honestly wayyyyyy better.

P-40s are bad now. Too inaccurate to hit much, too weak to do much when they do hit. Basically the answer to heavy armor is get gud with your Jacksons.

it's a big gamble where chance of succeeding is like 10%. Ofc the vehicles have to be already damaged and down to less than 15% health. Then you might get lucky rocket or two and get some kills.

How about they reduce the cost and cooldown? If you call in constant air support, you are bound to get a lucky crit eventually!
