Hello,

How I can update the instances the game use in the CoH2-tools? I want to edit the new patch files, but I am still using the pre-patch data.

Can I update them? How I can do that?

Nobody knows how to do that?

I mean: How to update the tools to edit new patch notes? It don't use patched version automatically.

Also when I start a new mod-project there are only pre-patch notes.

Unfortunately, this is something that Relic has to do. Interestingly though if you don't clone an updated file in the attributed editor, the game will use the most recent version of it, even if the version in the attribute editor is outdated. You can use this to do some workarounds, but some things, like the commander changes for OKW, will be broken even if you don't change anything regarding them. Hope that helps.

Seriously, there are two separate threads on the official forums asking for this same thing (and I posted in both to bump them). What is it going to take?

Thanks kyle, it just started updating few hours after he was browsing this thread.

Do we have to clone and mod every profile again or are they automatically updated?

the parent data will CHANGE but your cloned one will remain the same, so you'll need to just compare the files to see whats different stats and change it yourself FAM

Thanks for your response, :brad:brad:brad:. Really appreciate it.

Looks like I have to start from scratch to avoid those headaches.
