WTF, anyone have a playback or tips for completing this bitch on general difficulty.
I tried 3 bunkers with mg42, which gets me through round 2, but then on round 3 they show up with AT rifles and just own my base, mortars just get mowed down, no way to be mobile, I am just stumped on this one how to get through it.

krebs made a video, how to do it. leave a maxim of the second or so wave in your base alive, and then tech and build defenses. pretty lame, but works

All I could find was a video of him failing. Comments say how to get it done, seems cheesy, but doable. Keep round 1 guys around for an hour to build resources. Lame but after trying for 3-4 hours, time for some cheesy.

Thanks, finally got it done.
For me this is how I got it done.
Wave 1- mg42 team, and flamer pioneer, basically make them retreat
Wave 2- 2 mg42 teams and flamer, wipe out conscripts keep a few guards squads alive, let them kill your teams, then get up, go walk the dogs with the wife, eat supper,and come back an hour later, you will have 9999mp, ~1200muni, and ~300fuel, enough to build whatever you need.
Cheesy as all hell, but gets the job done, there is a twitch recording on my stream channel, need to edit it, but that is basically it.

Nothing hard to beat it, just get 2 MG's at start, cover one sector, you must quickly eliminate 1st wave because 2nd is most important, why? because shock troops can't kill buildings, you shouldn't care about killing them unless you get like 2k MP, dont build new units, just have 2 MG's and pio because MP income will be greater. When you got a lot of MP, get 4 snipers to elimiante pinned shock troops, get T3 and get 2 P4's. That's how i won this mission on General difficulty

I managed to fight off 7 waves on General difficulty w/o floating manpower. It was hard as hell but really fun. Had no chance at wave 8 tho, got completely overrun. Would like to see somebody go straight-up (no cheesy float strats) and do all 10 waves on General.

I tried the same but the problem is that this way you're never able to tech up, and the russians give you only 1 at gun

lol, I'm watching Krebs video and, besides the fact he used multiple saves, he made use of the fact the Maxim didn't shoot him to wait like an hour afk to mass resources xD
My video is going to be much better then, it's all in one round, no saves, no waiting afk for an hour xD
Also, since waves spawn randomly and the AI behaves pretty randomly, that situation of Maxim being bugged there is pretty much never going to happen again xD

I bunkered the left w MG upgrade, wired the middle, and funneled most of the fighting to the right. Like Symbi, I captured their AT gun, but that's no where near enough once wave 8 hits.

easiest way to beat this, just kill first wave pretty fast because conscripts got molotovs that can destroy your HQ, on second wave you got only shock troops that can't hurt your buildings, wait like half an hour or even more and then start stomping AI
