Hello, lovin this site, lovin the game...but i cant find proper graphics comparison video
Can someone pls make one ,like from lowest to highest( separately troops , vehicles etc.)?
We also can post feedback and people will have easier time playing CoH2 on graphical settings that suite them and are eyecandy
for example my

GPU- Ati Radeon HD5670 puts out 30 Fps(blizzard 25,masstrops 25,both 20)
CPU-Intel Duo Core E5400 2,7ghz (bit shity so loading time is a bit annoying)
RAM-3GB
Settings:
  • Resolution - 1366x786 @ 60hz
  • Textures - High
  • Snow - High
  • Image Quality - High
  • Physics - Medium
  • Anti Aliasing - Low
  • Vsync - Off

Many rigs put out different results and this way we all can tweak settings to our liking according to our specs
Also noticed some components that are "better" provide poor results, this way relic can hopefully address the issue and fix it
    Opinions? no hate,constructive feedback pls
    Cheers

Good idea. I think listing specs + settings from low, medium and high and an ingame screen shot would be a good way to compare. I will add my set of results tomorrow.

Rig:

Intel i3570k @3,4GHZ
ASUS GeForce GTX 660ti 2GB
Corsair Vengeance 16GB ram

Settings:

1920x1080 @ 60hz
Image quality: maximum
AA: Off
V-Sync: off
Texture Detail: Higher
Snow detail: High
Physics: High

In 1v1 I get 120fps at the start of the game. Slowly dropping during the rest of the game as more action gets going on. But it rarely goes lower then 60fps.

You should get a bigger monitor Hans. Such a waste of your rig to run the game in 768 resolution :p

@General

If you are getting more than 60fps and doesn't have a 120Hz monitor why don't you use V-Sync? You can't even see more than 60 fps.

It looks and feels much smoother, at least that's what I think.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz
3 GB DDR2 (well, use to have 4 GB but since I realized I couldn't copy stuff without files becoming corrupt that changed..)
ATI Radeon HD 5870

1920x1080 @ 60hz
Image quality: High
AA: Low
V-Sync: off
Texture Detail: Higher
Snow detail: Medium
Physics: High

The game runs smoothly (I played with 3 AI's on my side against 4 other AI's and it was smoothly playable throughout), I however don't know what my FPS is as I tend not to look at those things else I might become obsessed with whatever it states, I just go by does the game run smoothly or not.

ONE THING that bothers me though is the loading, not how long it takes to load a map but every time I click "start", it lag-ingly goes to black and then lag-ingly into the map, but after that it's smooth, this bothers me when playing online as someone always have to say "nice lag" or something like that, oh well I guess that's the part where my ram is lacking..if only DDR2 wasn't so expensive these days...

Oh and it would be nice if there were more graphics options available like in COH1.

Well when I have enough money to buy myself a monitor that supports 1920x1080 @ 60hz then I will play coh2 on those settings. ;)

Yea that used to happen to me 2, rly annoying... but after few patches and driver updates the problem was gone by itself . They fixed that driver warning as well, used to have it daily even thou it was updated to latest now it doesnt appear anymore
True about more options part, sure would be nice if graphic settings were more customizable! :D
Cheers

2x GTX 570 SLI (800/2000) - But the game doesn't support SLI
2x Asus VG248qe (1080p, 144hz) - But the game doesn't support 144hz

In game:

AA: off
VSync: Off
Texture: Higher
Snow: High
Phys: High

Min: 24.93
Max: 59.94 (Surprisingly this isn't a fake cap. Just coincidental)
Avg: 39.61

Honestly, from a tech standpoint, CoH2 is crap. Most devs actually increase the amount of things supported with NEWER engines. Relic did the opposite. CoH1 could do 144hz, it supported SLI...

CoH2 is CPU extensive. You literally won't benefit anything from having the game support SLI. but even you have a i7 2600k clocked at 4.5, the game is horribly optimized and you're going to have frame rate issues when katyushas fire and shit.
