CoH2 is CPU extensive. You literally won't benefit anything from having the game support SLI. but even you have a i7 2600k clocked at 4.5, the game is horribly optimized and you're going to have frame rate issues when katyushas fire and shit.


well, you can 'hack' the SLI to work via NvidiaInspector. It causes all of the snow to flicker to an insane degree, but it doubled my FPS....

Then why enable it? You get SLi so you can get the best FPS at the best graphical quality. If having better FPS sacrifices your graphical quality, you might as well just lower the graphics, or disable SLi altogether.

If the game is not properly optimized, you can get workarounds, but its still won't be optimized.

  • AMD Raedon HD 7870
  • Intel Core i3 CPU 530 @2.9 GHz
  • 4 GB RAM
  • Resolution: 2048*1152

And for that graphic card, I think the settings suck.

Image Quality: Low
AA: off
VSync: ON
Texture: Higher
Snow: Low
Physics: off

Frame rate: min 20, avr 30, max 47

and yes, drivers are updated.
