We all know that Tac Support is overwelmingly better than any other commanders, in most sitations at least. But what seems so poorly designed to me is that Rangers are 3CP and you have to buy the Thompsons while there are 2CP shock troops and come off with PPSHs and if that wasn't enough you make a Heavy(It performs like a medium) tank that comes off as the same CP and costs 40MP less than a Tiger. Now we all know that Pershing can't beat a Tiger if the guy isn't low or retarted, now you maybe saying "But it's faster than a Tiger you dumbass, smoke&flank this is a L2P issue." Well.. i'm just trying to get some ideas to bring this commander to the line with others, so calm down.

So, do you guys think that Rangers or Pershing need a little buff, not Relic buff of course but you know what i mean. :luvCarrot::luvCarrot::luvCarrot::luvCarrot:

Rangers are fine but I do think that the Pershing needs a definite buff to health and armour. Hell, increase the price a bit and make it actually worth building. At the moment you are much better off with two shermans.

Both are fine. This is the third most popular doctrine, it doesn't need buffs.

Are you kidding, look at Recon and Mechanized Company. If any commanders need buffs, it's those.

I didn't say those don't need buff, they suck at all stages of the game except maybe you can counter a guy whose spamming like 6 kubels at start by goin mech but then again who the fu.. would spam kubels early game? So.. let's focus on this subject instead of changing it shall we?

Rangers have great received accuracy, great Vet, AND they have 3 weapon slots. I think its a fair trade-off that they come at 3 CP.

The Pershing won't beat a tiger 1 on 1 but then again its also MUCH better at AI than a Tiger (and faster as you mentioned). Not to mention the fact that HVAP rounds allow you to essentially perform a double shot - its fine for what it is as long as you don't have unrealistic expectations of using it as if it was a tiger. Maaaybe knock off like 10 fuel? That would be about it IMO.

pershing should cost 2oo fuel and maybe 11 cp ? btw recon and mechanized are pure shit the reason of that is because usf is commander hard dependent faction, not like wermaht or brits or even okw

My point still stands. Cav Company is one of USF's best commanders. Mines, Rangers, and a heavy tank (compared to other american tanks).

Rangers might not be the best call in infantry, but they still are powerful.

Rangers just need another abilities, whether it's smoke, sprint, tactical movement (para Thompsons), satchel change, demo charge. obv not all of these but at least one more.

As for Perishing, I would say only buff would be make it 11 CP maybe. It should come out similar times as panther.

I agree, I think the Pershing costs need to come down or slightly increase its survivability.

Its a good tank but god is it hard to keep alive

Attach crew repair to the vehicle to make up for its lack of crew and I think its good to go.

Maybe if the commander wasn't slapped together like a kindergartner making a pasta collage.

Rangers description is "marksmanship specialists" yet they have carbines. Also they have NOTHING interesting about them. They throw a grenade and have good durability... totally flavorless and boring.

Pershing is pretty damn good to be honest. It devours Panthers and the vet 1 ability is super strong.

Sandbags make zero sense for a mobility commander and mines take way too long to plant so that leaves us with combined Arms which is the most underrated ability in COH2 IMO.

This, Rangers provide very little utility at the moment. Plus they are boring in comparison.

Add a small Pershing buff then the commander will be all around strong. Reminds me of how Airborne just needs a few tweaks to be viable.
