Map blocked but still used

I just played a map (4vs4, Random) that was blocked by me. Please fix this, there is a reason why people block maps.

It's a feature. When there are not enough players, the matchmaking try to find a match regardless of your map vetos.

Thank for the info, didn't know that. That's a pity, I'd rather wait than having to play the map.

well you can always veto the map ingame with /l

Yeah, map vetos lower the probability of the map popping, not exclude it from the mm, otherwise the ques would be even longer or high levels would fight even more bads.

That's weird. Sometimes I wait even over a minute for a game but I was never put on the map I vetoed.

/l stands for /leave which will instantly drop you while showing that you dropped in chat. you still get a loss but if you really want to spend time on a map you vetoed (probably because you're at a disadvantage on it) then that's a choice too.
