1 vs 1 AI?

Sorry if this has already been answered, I couldn't find the info. (BTW, where is the forum search button?)
Is there a way to play 1 vs 1 match vs AI? I'm a complete noob and need to at least try buildorders, caporders, units and underststand how the mechanics work before beeing able to do smth in matchmaking

Was going to try that vs AI, but only 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4 are available with other human players by my side?

Custom Match. When the game loads, it's the middle option, then on the next screen the rightmost, I think. Choose a small map, and only 1 AI player. If you change your faction, check that the AI faction is different, otherwise you may end up with a mirror match!

As others said. It makes no sense to use "matchmaking" to match yourself alone against AI, that's why they disabled it from there. Tbh they could have left it open for convenience, creating a random map custom game behind the scene. But whatever, just create the custom game yourself.

I don't think there is right now, they are supposedly working on one though.

Actually, Starcraft 2 has matchmaking with the AI and it does make sense. As you play the AI it matches you with a progressively harder AI to match your level. This way as you can increase your skill level. But maybe COH2 has plans for that as well since its not complete right now? I just hope they don't expect you guys to pay more money on top of the $60. You paid for a complete game, so I would expect to get the "fixes" for free.
