The only way it could be worse is if it blue-screened every game. Seriously, why does input lag go from 100-200ms to 500ms+ IN THE SAME GAME. Why is the engine full of microstutter that it misses player inputs? Why do units sticky to "cover" positions literally several model units away from where a player clicks? Why is the pathfinding so god-awful that units when being multitasked to perform flanks constantly weave back and forth?
And no, my computer is not bad. I have a devil's canyon overclocked to 4.9ghz, a 980 TI, and a 144hz gsync monitor. No other pc game out there gives me any performance issues whatsoever.
Every time I come back to the game thinking maybe they fixed things, it's just the same stupid bullsh*t.
COH2 has to be one of the most terribly coded games ever ...

Well, ignoring the salt, I'll try to respond:
CoH 2 was rushed by THQ as they wanted to launch it to stave off bankruptcy, which sadly for them anyway never worked out. Sega took on the project just before release and we can assume basically said "Do what you must but get this game out" which meant they couldn't finalise all the bits and pieces.
As for coding, Relic coding is never good, there's no counter argument it's always bad. They can code better than I can of course, but the number of times changing something can cause something else to break is ridiculous.

That sounds like a connection issue to me... I have similar setup to yours and never had any problems like you describe.
Hell, I never had any lag/latency problems before on slower connection and worse hardware.
