Honestly its sick what a comet can do on a battlefield. The tank is a total game-changer. It is like Panther, but slightly less armoured amd 100 times better AI.
1 or 2 encounter against a panther and its already vetted up. It receives even more accuracy and speed. With its 6.9 speed i think its already the fastest tank in the game, but compared to its armour its just WOW..
On vet3 it can nitro out retreating infantry squads and wipe them out with maingun shots while they are retreating. This is ridiculous. Ofcourse in top of these there is a tank-nade and a phosphorus shell to overkill infantry.
Its AI and speed should be lowered for good. I mean, fine if it has good AI and abilities, but wiping retreating infantries...

It has less armor, less pen, and less damage than the panther. If you remove its AI, whats the point of even building the comet if it will just get rekt by a cheaper better tank?

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Panter have better better penetration, better frontal armor, better accuracy vet 2 gives ridiculous 960 hp and 352 frontal armor.
Comet sacrificed a lot of things to be able to fight infantry somewhat.
Last time i used comet against armor it missed on okw p4 3 times of 4.
Also i find envil in any case superior to hammer.

Nothing is wrong with the Comet at all, everyone is quite content to see the Comet used more frequently now.
You just seem like you had a bad experience and cried nerf, I feel that way sometimes to be honust (I only play team modes) but its just because they out-played you in that game, does not determine if anything needs a nerf or buff and certainly the Comet needs iver.

I did not say anything about removing its AI, i only said its too much.
The tank can get vet2 and 3 pretty fast, where it receives further accuracy and speed bonuses.
Its nonsense. It shots in the middle of a retreating squad and kills half of them easily, while chasing them to their base...
You talking like "it cant go toe-to-toe" with a panther, while actually the only thing it must worry about is the panther.
Anyway.. i assume its fine here, because its UKF

i know you're used to kill allied tanks in 2 hits and shit, but it will hurt less if you accept... comet is not a sherman.comet is the only allied medium that worth something and if used well can change the game.

The comet is fine in my opinion. I agree that it may be the single best tank for cost in the game but due to its flexibility and utility-not it's ability to wipe out entire armies. It feels strong but definitely not overpowered.
On the other hand, saying the panther has a better gun is just wrong. Sure it has more penetration but the comet still has very serviceable penetration on top of actually being useful against infantry.
