New Game Ideas(Warpoils, Prestige, F2p...)

I am playing coh2 for quite some time. So i have some ideas to improve the long time motivation of players.


-all Bulletins should be available for all #esportsready
-prestige system should be reworked
-> you get commanders, skins at a certain level..
e.g. at lvl 10 u get a skin, at lvl 12 a commander...
->they could take user created skins from the steam workshop
->prestige system reset(all back to prestige 1)
->increase of the max prestige level
->u gain exp. after each game
->all people who own the game before the f2p change get a premium account for 1 year
->with a premium account u get 100%more exp(like in wot, warthunder.....)

-warspoils system should be removed
-f2p gamemodell
->basic game free(ost, sov)
->other expensions for purchase
-all commanders should be free, or implemented in the new prestige system
-u have to be a certain prestige lvl to play ranked
-new unreanked mode should be available
-ingame store only for skins and premium account time


do u have any ideas? I will ad a few more in some time.

The ability to watch from a units perspective in replay mode, also disabling hud on replay mode for sexier pics.

F2P would be a good idea. I think just adding an ingame "war effort" would make it so you can "Buy" skins and decals.
All commanders should be bought or obtained through this system that you get from simply playing the game, if you dont want to wait then you should still have the option to buy them.

Making the game F2P and fixing warspoils would probably triple the playerbase. A fix for warspoils is long due.

Are you sure you know what you are writing about? This would lead to massive disappointment of playerbase due to inability to find fair matches in the time after the change. Do you know why the game is not ballanced? Becouse there is not enough players interested in official patch beta mods. Do you know why? Becouse there is no ranked mode there and you have to find opponent by yourself.

yeah thats how i thought it. I would merge war effort and the prestige system. When u get to a certain lvl u get a gift(skin, commander) Cause your prestige system doesnt matter at all. It only shows how much time u have spend. Also ranksgroups like in starcraft/lol would be great. e.g. gold, silver....

Btw people who already bought something still have it(logically)

i am not sure but i think the matchmaking is ranked based. I have like 250 hours in coh2(prestige 80) and already played against luvnest, jove(5000hours) in 1vs1 ranked.

U should get players of equal rank in unranked too but without a entry in ur playercard.

Here's my idea: Impliment some kind of a Credit system in to the game, you would get a certain amount of Credits after a game, for example based on the exp you got, and you could "rent" items with that (for example 2 days for 500 credits), so people could test out commanders and stuff without actually paying for them and realizing they suck, this same thing would go for skins

You could however buy items with real money and this would give you them item permamently instead

And also making Sov and Osth F2P to multiplayer/Skirmish

With these changes
>player level now actually means something & gives players a motivation to keep playing the game
>Much more equalities,fairness,competitive,eSport-compatible
>the playerbase will expand by a realtively big margin
>less noobs in ranked mode now with the lvl requirement as well as the unranked mode

I would say this is basically the ideal state of this game,which means it might never come true due to the changes being too radical and probably not worthy to be implemented on such a aging game.

The bulletins were once locked behind achievements and ranking if I am not mistaken, they changed it when they introduced WFA.
