At least their mid-long range needs to be toned down. Teleporting behind your ass and wiping out full health units is surly not an eSports ready thing. They cost alot but how they can turn the tide and turn a losing early game engagement into an instant win is rather broken.

I'm gonna be honest dude you seem to complain about anything. Last time I read your comments you were complaining about US tier 3 and linked a picture of usf beating ostheer lmao...

they cost a lot to deploy a lot to reinforce and are squishy, if you know he picked that doctrine you can mine doors, barb wire doors etc...

IMO on lower vet levels falls are decent to mediocre (the time they come out they're going against vet, possible bars,brens,m1919s)

On higher vet levels imo this is completely different, an amazing unit, only issue is getting them to that level.

For spawning out of a building, trust me placing a mine at the door will be a squad wipe, so 30 munis or 10 (Soviet vet 1) for a squad wipe (considering the squad did nothing at all)


DPS I think they're fine and on top of low survivability until vet 3 I believe it is.

They spawn from the house, they dont teleport there. That means they have vet 0 then. And they are more a mp drain than anything else unless they get to at least vet3. They also pay 80mp for the spawn ability and it is not refunded even if they spawn in base... I agree that okw is strong now but this unit is not the problem. Everybody would take obers over falls 100% of time. Maybe if at least one could get them for 360mp in some way. But right now they are still just obers for players who for some reason dont build t3. They were called poor man obers from the very beginning and it still fits.

Making them purchase FG42s would only be feasible with a cost reduction to their manpower cost. Which I'd hardly be against. Making all the building-spawning units follow the Stormtroopers' rules would be quite nice.

Just nerfing Falls flat-out isn't right though.

purchase fg42s. spawn with kar98 like vuther says. solves alot of problems right there.

Yes.

Do that, you can mess around with them not having weapon crew received-accuracy, lower initial cost, and all that junk. Probably allow them (and Falls) to upgrade while in enemy territory to keep them toward the purpose of being sneaky and harassing.

Falls already useless... need to be more useless :snfPeter: well not useless but just too expensive to maintain and obers can do the job better. Unless there will be a compensation where there will be a cost reduction but have to upgrade weapons.

I remember when this was suggested long ago but most people figured a fair upgrade cost to the FG42s would still be too expensive munitions-wise for OKW.

WELL, A LOT CAN CHANGE IN TIME.

Make falls 300 MP and make them spawn with 40% less DPS ober-like kar98s and give them full FG42 upgrade for 90-100 munitions.

aside from their SURPRISE! ability the FS are crap of underwhelming in combat. panzerfusilier and ober are vastly more effective combat infantry than FS.

I don't know what's a better price considering g43 fusies are 90 munitions.

Maybe 50 munitions? I'm trying to take into account the reduced reinforcement cost with 300 mp Falls.

Falls vet 4 and vet 5 were nerfed by half. So they stay mediocre, to decent. even at vet 5.

You forgot the fourth option: Add a stock received accuracy buff, so they don't get shredded to bits by falling leafs.

Cut cost to 395, spawn them with 2 FG-42 with option for 2 more.
