Not really.
These maps are balanced fairly well, imo.
Map pool:
Steppes
Lienne Forest
General Mud
City 17
Redball Express
La Glieze
Lanzerath Ambush
Port Hamburg
City 17 and Lanzerath ambush are certainly not balanced the first due to the position north side gets on their fuel, and ambush due to how the mid is designed with the north side having free sight over the mid vp, while the south side team's sight on mid vp totally blocked by all trees there, I'm sure everyone knows that
The rest of the maps seem faily balanced (except steppes and redball both axis favoured)
P.S I couldn't access the link to u posted, it's taken down?!!

Yes, if you ignore the southern team on La Gleize having it much easier to hold their own fuel and to cut off the enemy or how the southern team on Hamburg doesn't have to pass chokepoints and can get into both fuel buildings easily.

With how 4v4 works, I fear for the ratio of axis players to allies players.

Each team will play as axis once and allies once (on the same map). If it is a 1-1 split, higher VP count will determine the winner. This due to the amount of time invested for not only a typically long game (45-hour avg.), but also the difficulty in getting 8 players from around the world on at a mutual time.

Plus, I feel like things balance out a lot more for allied players in 4v4. But I'm not the expert. I just need to find our 4th and start practicing up, 4v4 is micro hell.

coh2.org does have a mumble server. Or, at least it did. That could be used by teams if needed.
