In comparison with CoH1 (slippery slope I know...) CoH2 commanders feel like they have a lot less choice. CoH1 doctrines had more total usable abilities (even though CoH1 only had three total doctrines per faction) and they had less passive abilities or infantry upgrades.

Was this intentional so players were less reliant upon commanders or just poor design..?

A suggestion - allow the player to pick more than 1 commander in game

I would pay $10 for that

Thank you for that observation :p

Whenever I use Commanders in CoH2 I find that I use one or two abilities max, the others are just meh

OKSpitfire: I do like that they made the Stuka more expensive instead of nerfing it into the ground though. Found it pretty unsatisfying to use before that buff a while back....
