Oswtind is fine. Don't try to fix something, what does not need a fix.

Ya know, something told me that you will be against any kind of buff for this unit. B-)

I do think it should have some dmg increase perhaps some accuracy but nothing more.

It should have just been a Whirblewind so it could basically be cloned from the Centaur.

Do not forsake the Eastern winds my friend, for they are more powerful than you think they are!

Because it does not need a buff. Don't buff/nerf something what is in perfect spot.
There is weird tendency to buff units, which are fine, becasue they are not OP.

For example.
Brummbar and Bulldozer are far away from being OP and far away from being UP. They are in perfect spot. Just like Ostwind. We don't need killing machines. We need normal units with quite reasonable and constant damage.

If this is the case then halftrack and centaur are overperforming for price relative to ostwind

I guess Centaur is also in a perfect place, huh? Comparing to Ostwind.

Because it's needed, and I don't see any reason to keep it as it is now especialy if we compare it to other units that have the same purpose, in other factions. Can you be so kind to explain why it shouldn't be buffed?

Sure, trade speed for damage and I don't mind. That'll be a nerf imo though, which Ost can't afford.

I don't see any problem with buffing damage with a huge nerf to mobility.

Remind me, how many shots AA HT or Quad can survive? I dont see how AA HT and Quad are superior to Ostwind.

My game is bugged! I dont need to pay 100 fuel for a Quad/AA HT in my game version. Which patch are you playing?

Yes i got your point that ~50 fuel units are dieing faster than 100 fuel units even though OP said to "other vehicles in the same role". But only a fool would take that Word for Word without taking fuel costs into consideration.

Awesome picture, you must be some hero or celeb in the interwebz

The centaur is soooo much slower than ostwind. The AOE feels better and having the blitz (and smoke) makes it ez to keep alive. I think its fine, it does it job

I think the Ostwind needs a buff. I will always take a P4 over an Ostwind even when I already have enough AT on the field simply because the Ostwind does not provide a significant anti-infantry advantage over a P4 whilst being in the same price range as a P4 and hardly having any of its AT capabilities.

So it's job is to move better than centaur and stay alive. Nevermind it has a popcorn shooter instead of a gun.

assymetrical balance.

Ostwind is fine.

Ostwind is a killing machine well used. So use it well. No need for a nerf or a buff.

Don't move around like a flee infested dog with ostwind and it'll rack up kills just as well.

the ostwind has problems facing stuff like the captain or anything with piats. it's AI capabilities are only slighlty better than the stuarts.

Mobility, not panic reverse as soon as you see single con squad.

You need to be mobile enough to not get engine crit, which single squad will not inflict on you.

the problem is, when facing for example a captain squad, or a vet1 rifle with zooks... if you don't try to kite, your ost is most likely dead before it can kill anything.
