Panzer IV has gone garbage for its cost. (that excludes T34/76 of course)
Super low penetration (only thing it can reliably pen is light vehicles)
Terrible moving accuracy
High scatter and RNGish misses infantry
low health pool (vs T34/85 and E8)
Dont tell me vet makes it good, by the time you hit vet 2/3 you will be up facing Jacksons/Comet/Super heavy
150 fuel panzer 4 increase it's penetration.

Also on topic, OKW P4s are fine. They get skirts at vet 0, benefit stupidly from stacking armour bulletins, and have a moderately good gun.

With increasing the price the tank has to be compared to the T34/85 & Ez8, comparing to them its under performing.
OKW P4:
Cost: 360 mp / 150 Fuel
Penetration: 100 / 110 / 120
Scatter: 6.4
AOE: 2.5
Reload: 5.63
Armour: 234 / 80
Health: 640
T34/85:
Cost: 380 mp / 130 Fuel
Penetration: 120 / 140 / 160
Scatter: 5.0
AOE: 2.5
Reload: 6.28
Armour: 160 / 80
Health: 800
Easy8:
Cost: 380 mp / 140 Fuel
Penetration: 155 / 165 / 200
Scatter: 5.4

We see, higher scatter means the gun will miss infantry more often. While the HP means it only sustains 4 shots vs 5 on the t34/85 & ez8. Low penetration means also that it has a hard time penetrating medium tanks (calliopes included). Compared with Armour of the Easy8 there is hardly a difference, especially when you keep in mind the that the Easy8 is considered as the best medium generalist tank in game.
Again it's just stating objective stats and comparing them. OKW P4 costs more, but has worse stats.

When they figure out how to delay tanks without increasing their cost (side upgrades, "in-tech" upgrades like hammer/anvil), old prices will come back.

Maybe. You played OKW after these changes? I didn't. After playing it, we'll see if this change is such a drawback. Of course some units' cost fuel seems absurd - 150 fuel for a panzer 4 - but if it's cheaper, it will ruin their precious 4v4 games because allied cheese is currently negated.
It's not that we are not used with skyhigh prices in Axis' case. We will just have to deal with it.

Problem with that, there 90% of useless bulletins and there are couple that could be OP when staking, and its pure random will get all 3 or not, advantages based on random drop factor - are bad for RTS. 135(150)fu for 235 armour is one thing, and 135(150)fu for 270 is other, 90mu for shrek is one thing, 75(76)mu is other. Such things only messes with balance.

While the pz4 is now 150 fuel it is the most expensive medium tank, although it's ass gets some hard whooping by a much cheaper Ez8 and T34/85. I suggest to make it's penetration to 150/140/130.
Okw p4 has worse penetration than a sherman with AP rounds, and has a gun comparable to the t34/76. 10 more pen lol.
Buff penetration to 135 like it should have. Okw p4 is going to be so cost inefficient lol, just like ost p4.

Can't read patch note ? fuel was increased to stop the OPKW having tanks way before allies in a fair game.Same way axis called for a huge cost increase to churchill, with nerf to its stat.
That's it, now that OPKW don't have 6 min luch (ho wait it still does), 9/10 min p4, 12 min p5 or 14 min KT, OPKW fanboy come once more crying OPKW need buff.
You still got the better armor, the better and cheapest infantry in the game, but now you can't stomp allies with a 10/12 min p4(Yes now I can have a sherman 30sec/1 min before your p5 or p4), you have to wait another 30 sec for a p4 30 sec for a p5 (OMFG what a nerf, not cost effective anymore
) or 2/30 mins for a still no-CP required KT.Stop complaining. You still have your volks with shreck horde.
