It does seem like the rifle's OP veterancy are what keeps USA in the game. Which works because they can spam them easily, but you see little variety in US play. Riflespam with BARs, Captain, Stuart (maybe a howie in team games), Jackson (Pershing if doctrine). I'd say at least 75% of the US players I've seen use that build. Some do experiment with Shermans, REs, LT build, airborne and the like but those seem just inferior overall.

One thing I thought of to cut down spamming was a scaling to cost of units in that squad one cost 250, squad 2 cost 300 squad 3 cost 350 etc. Right now you can get 6 volks w schrecks, charge a tank shoot a salvo and vaporize the tank then retreat and do it all again.

At least w a scaled cost there is some sort of deterrent to any faction from getting more than a few of 1 unit.

Well if your:
British, infantry takes up 10 pop so so can have only 2-4.
American, riflemen at 280 a pop are just not worth it to spam 7 of like volks. Riflemen are great at killing infantry, not infantry and Armor like volks. Unlike the OKW player who can make the 1 stop shop volks American players have to play the game and get other units to counter the 14 min KT.
Russian, lol.

Either way you miss the point of my post, scaled pricing due to amount of units would be a deterrent to spamming for all sides not just OKW.

The problem with Volks is the spam, Relic must add tolls on OKW abilities so the player cannot simply build 1 after 1 his volks:
Add a 100mp/15 fuel toll to unlock shrek
Add a 100mp/15 fuel toll to unlock flamnade


Not a bad idea. Tanks would arrive later, around 1 - 1,5 min but still it's something. I think starting fuel should be 0 not 10 fuel. Small changes but may impact on the okw dominance.

OKW became horribly overpowered, it's not secret for anyone, 6 minute luchs and p4 comes before you can get shreman is not funny now. Volksgrenadiers overperfrom, they stay way too good against riflemans, IS and conscripts, okw also have acess to cheaper sturmpioneers and kubelwagen early what makes you loose map control right from start.

Suggestion: volksgrenaiders damage reduced from 12 to 10, price to 235 mp.
Panzershrek accuracy reduced by 25% from current stats.
T4 gives you acess to such strong tanks but cost only 135 fuel in total. Increase it price to 140 fuel and 15 for truck. (155 fuel in total).

Agree with op. Lt tier is more useless now, because of fast light tanks and fast shrecks. Kubel is making too much damage and it's too cheap. Volks have too much damage. Tiers are cheap, therefore fast Kt and etc.. So OKW need nerf IMO.

can someone delete brainless volks blob from the game pls.. why relic is so stupid to buff that unit, why they dont add some new unit with 4 models for shrek and then add some m40 for volks, in games 4vs4okw its looks like age of empires not ww2 game lol

Allied factions have HMGs, Onmap arty, demos, mines etc. enough tools to deal with any blobs.
