If enemy territory is out of supply, Close the Pocket kicks it in the balls (for real, light arty, JU-87s and Stuka Dive Bombs will hit those places). Otherwise, mortars barrage frontline enemy territory. This lasts up to the ability's duration.

There are several examples of Close the pocket doing its job on Youtube, It can basically end the game in your favour, but it has to be used with good coordination, to get the best results :P

All enemy units which remain in cut off enemy sectors will be bombarded by railway artillery, stuka dive bombs and panzerwefers until the territory sectors are reconnected.

Be warned that units in friendly and neutral sectors don't get hit

also don't keep your own unit in the sector either specially where the enemy was at. it will be barraged by friendly fired and 99% it will die.

its op, but hardest thing to do when ur opponent making cache to counter it,
plus Stuka bomb deal 45% hp to cache,it wont destroy it

maybe due to cache being a building now n receive less dmg from Arty (stuka bomb)

unless it's been fixed the divebomb will decap the point and leave the cache.

Ran into this on red ball last night. Wow. We had two thirds of map and they called storms on one cut off and blitzed Ostwind on other. I immediately hit retreat on all infantry and saved most of them but my centaur who was vet 3 couldn't make it back and Churchill barely survived. It happened two more times when they destroyed our cut off caches and blitzed our depleted lines. This commander is actually viable in big team games

enemies are fleeing to fast out of the sectors where a bombardement is announcend, makes them think this one is op, but in fact if you know how it works and you are fast in recapping that sector bringing the cuttoff to you(mostly that one not far away from your base or where enemy stealth.capped with storms the sector) this ability is done and 200 munitions spend for some lol mortars meanwhile.

Yeah it's pretty deadly on a map with 3 main cutoffs like Steppes. It's harder on other maps like Lienne Forest but it requires a fair amount of co-ordination with your teammates. It also really helps if you have another player who can help with decapping cutoffs quickly or have spare armour to destroy caches quickly.
