Lag drop loses

Relic,

I think I have about 10-15 lag drop defeats in the past month. connecting...reconnecting...defeat... so annoying. What is the issue?

Please fix this issue.

I've had a couple people DDOS me, so there's certainly some drophacking going on.

If it's happening frequently though I'd make sure the problem isn't your internet connection or you lagging out of the game.

Its not my internet cause its fine for everything else. CoH2 just been horrible this past month. Really annoying..


Where do I report drop hacking? Not sure it this is the issue but I realize I dropped twice today playing with same guys.

It's just insane... Just finished AT 2v2 and it's not connection issue becasue:
A: TeamSpeak works fine
B: Ive got "Connection lost. Reconeccting... and 2mins later my teammate has got the same.

Not to mention input delay and small freezes like 1-2sec every single game... Unplayable

Australian Magic, thats the DDOS experience. I had the same, but also my stream got disconnected.

The game is broken after last patch. I have freezes, like everything stops and then goes really fast, disconnecting and reconnecting things. Before patch there wasn't any problem. Also I don't have any connecting problems with other games (Red Orchestra 2, Battlefield 4), so I don't think it is problem with my connection. Anyone have such problems?

I have no problems in 1v1. As soon as I hit 2v2 and above, the game start freezing, having fps issues, latency issues, units not responding when selected or simply not moving whatever you do.

Even Skyrim at launch was less broken optimization wise than this game is after 2,5 years..

Automatch reloading screen into busplat into lose (cause the game thinks i drop connection?) every 2nd or 3rd game.

The bugsplat report according to relic developer was due to high memory issue.

At first i thought the fact i had mozilla on was causing it, BUT i deactivated EVERYTHING (avg, nvidia updates, all background apps)and closed all open windows and ran only the game.

THE SAME RESULTS.

I've noticed that some times (in 2vs2) when I give an order to a unit they do not obey. Specially with retreat. I press retreat button, and squad does not retreat. Then I do click again, and it works.

Well, is just really unstable. Think maybe just start new development on CoH3 and learn from CoH2 lol

Well, I'm was hoping this evening the lag wouldnt be as bad, but had four (4) disconnect...reconnection drops defeat in row. Yes, Im not smart playing this game right now lol.

The game was unplayable yesterday both my team and enemy team wasn't able to move units for 1-2 seconds.

Packet loss means that you send a packet of data to the server, for example "retreat unit x" but data are lost in the process, for example due to routing loop and they never get there.

Problem is that would mean game is using UDP :huhsign: I'am pretty sure it uses TCP though to avoid such problems, why wouldn't it?

Just reverted back to Windows 7 Ultimate after Windows 10 just seem to deliver worse performance by the day. Can quite definitely say that CoH2 performance is a great deal better with Windows 7 Ultimate. Can run 2v2 and above without any issues now, can even run full AA on 1v1.

If you are running Windows 10, this migt explain why the game runs worse.
