Change Faction starting unit

I have been wondering how to change the starting unit for OKW in a mod im making. Its probaly with SCAR

But I have no idea where to start. Like where should I put the SCAR file, how do I start with writing the code?

Could someone give me a small, but clear example?

Go into armys and select west_german go under starting buildings and then into starting squads and you move on from there

Everyone gets a Luchs, how else are you supposed to counter USF?

aerafield: @LimaOscarMike I would say nowadays is a decent time to try CoH3. If you loved CoH2 however, there is a solid chance you're gonna dislike CoH3
